Starting out in blogging with Google’s Blogger, I made the natural move to Wordpress. The reasons why are neither here nor there but what I did find troubling is the lack of appeal in the backend. Furthermore, I’ve found that in some ways, it holds me back because of it.
Now, I’ve tried many plugins, and some are great. Some are even (dare I say) “better” than the plugin I’m speaking of. But these plugins helps in all sorts of different areas, and the one that directly affects, and helps, me the most is Steve Smith’s Tiger Admin. He is a smart guy, instead of messing around with all the code, he’s just prepared a realigning of all of the elements in the form of a stylesheet.
I’ve been using the Ordered List Tiger Admin for a few weeks now, and I can truly say that I feel more optimisitic, more relaxed and more efficient when I use the backend.
Try it. You’ll love it.
P.S. - I just ordered Steve’s Ordered List shirt. I’m stoked.
