Over the past week or so, I’ve found myself browsing the same pages of SmashLab’s website purely because they’re good at what they do. It’s not just their work though, their entire website is beautiful, compliant and best of all, clever.
After following their link to Behance (Make Ideas Happen), initially I liked their site for the same reason. Their beautiful use of typography and effective products made me come back frequently. But it wasn’t until I began reading what they had to say that I fell in love.
Their articles are short and sweet, letting you read one or two before getting back to work, and they really have something going here. Their website is all about being creative in an effective and positive manner.
Long story short, head over to Behance.com and read some of what they have to say. Their ideas don’t reinvent the wheel, they remind us of it. Oh, and don’t forget to pick up their “Action Book,” I just picked up my first of, I’m sure, many.
